I think what I am worried about the most is that blogs can gain momentum and then just continue to get drops based on nothing but reciprocating drops. I want to drop on sites that I enjoy reading, not just anyone for a credit.</description>

I like your argument though. Only perhaps you should also account for the fact that not all drops will result in visits. 

Anyway all that apart, I am amazed that Entrecard has created a whole new blog economy where the currency is created by them. Looks like a very good idea!
